Hwachae (Korean Fruit Punch)
(watermelon, strawberry milk + honey)
Serves 6

What You Need:
For the lemon-lime syrup:
Peel of 1 lemon
Peel of 1 lime
1 tablespoon granulated sugar
Pinch of kosher salt
¾ cup fresh lemon juice
¼ cup Savannah Bee Company honey (we used Whipped Honey with Lemon)

For the punch:
4 cups cubed watermelon
2 cups mixed berries
1 starfruit, sliced, plus more for garnish
2 kiwi, peeled and cubed
1 (14-ounce) can lychees, drained
½ cup lemon-lime syrup
2 (14-ounce) containers strawberry milk
2 (12-ounce) cans club soda
1 cup boba pearls

What to do:

1. Wash Up!

2. Make the lemon-lime syrup: Combine the lemon peel, lime peel, sugar, and salt in a small saucepan over low heat. Muddle with a muddler or wooden spoon for 1 minute. Add the lemon juice and whipped honey and stir until combined. Transfer the syrup to a jar and chill until cooled.

3. Make the drink: Combine all the fruit in a large pitcher. Add the lemon-lime syrup and strawberry milk. Top with club soda. (Taste and add more lemon-lime syrup if needed.)

To Serve: Pour the punch into ice-filled glasses. Top with boba and garnish with a star fruit slice. Serve immediately.

Pro Tip: Add cubed Jello, small gummy candies…the sky's the limit here!
