Welcome to BeeTopia: An Oasis for Pollinators!

BeeTopia is Savannah Bee Company's most immersive expression of our mission: to educate the world about the vital connection between bees, people, and the planet. From dirt lot to thriving pollinator garden, it also fosters collaboration and fun for a more sustainable, bee-friendly future. We invite everyone to learn about honeybees, beekeeping, and the impact bees have on our everyday lives and the environment.

Our Mission in Action

“A meeting place for shared learning and research. A place of citizen
science, where we are learning together from our collective observations. A
place where we can be inspired to make small but meaningful differences in the
lives of our pollinators” - Ted

Experience BeeTopia

Join us in BeeTopia where you’ll get to be up close and personal with a working beehive while enjoying the beauty of nature around us. You’ll get to try honey from our company and honey fresh out of our hives while learning the importance of pollinators and the hive ingredients like honey, beeswax, propolis, and royal jelly. We are also now offering mead tastings at BeeTopia so it is the perfect spot to stop when you’re going to an event at Enmarket Arena or visiting Savannah.

Ella Langley Experiences BeeTopia

Ella Langley came to BeeTopia for a tour. She left having tried mead straight from Ted Dennard, declared our Orange Blossom "12 out of 10," and watched her drummer, Howard, hold a frame of live bees for the first time — fear and all. The real moment, though, was most special: Ella leaning in as a bee emerged from its cell, still, and filled with wonder. That's BeeTopia. Not a photo op — a place where people slow down enough to notice something small doing something remarkable.

From Dirt Lot to Pollinator Oasis

BeeTopia was a vision made for all living things from the start. What most people saw as a dirty warehouse lot, Ted envisioned a space where people could learn about our relationship to honeybees and the essential role they play in our ecosystem.

The Good of the Hive

In 2025, Savannah Bee Company became home to 72 painted honeybees, native bees and butterflies as a partner in Willey’s global art project, The Good of The Hive. Willey is on a 21-year mission to paint 50,000 bees – the average number in a healthy hive around the world.
