Overview


Savory ground beef, tender veggies, and noodles are tossed in a rich, spicy sauce featuring our Bee in Your Bonnet Hot Sauce. Quick, satisfying, and easy to customize with as much heat as you like, it’s a flavorful weeknight dinner that comes together in no time.

Instructions


  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat.  Add 1 tablespoon of oil and ground beef.  Break up ground beef and brown until almost cooked through.  Remove from the pan and drain additional fats. 
  2. Place skillet back over medium, add additional tablespoon of oil, shallot, garlic, mushrooms and pepper and sauté until tender, about 3-5 minutes. 
  3. Place the ground beef back into the skillet with the vegetable mixture along with the soy sauce, sesame oil and beef broth.  Bring to a slow boil. 
  4. Combine the cornstarch and water in a small dish and mix until no clumps remain.  Slowly pour the mixture into the skillet, mix well and allow to thicken.  Add in the “Bee In Your Bonnet” hot sauce and remove the skillet from heat. 
  5. Toss in the prepared noodles until fully covered.  Sprinkle with diced scallions and serve.

  • 2 Tablespoon oil
  • 1 - 1 ¼ pounds ground beef
  • 1 shallot, sliced thin
  • 3-4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 6-8 baby bell mushrooms, stems removed and diced
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 1 cup beef stock
  • 1 Tablespoon corn starch
  • ¼ cup water
  • ¼ cup Savannah Bee “Bee In Your Bonnet’ Hot Sauce, plus more to taste
  • 2 scallions, diced
  • 1 pound Asian style noodles of choice (udon, rice, lo mein, etc), prepared according to package directions
