Chipotle Honey Glazed Shrimp with Guacamole on Tostada

Tostadas with chipotle tupelo honey shrimp and homemade guacamole taste amazing and are easy to make. This incredible bite can be made in under 30 minutes. Enjoy! 



 2 Cups Canola Oil for Frying

 6 Four Inch White Corn Tortillas


  1. Poor the oil into a small pot on medium heat when hot test with small piece of tortilla to see if bubbles
  2. Add corn tortillas one at a time flipping over after one minute, cook until crispy
  3. Place on a plate lined with a paper towel
  4. Set aside



 ½ Small White Onion

 2 Plum Tomatoes

 3 Avocados 

 2 Limes

 2 Teaspoons Chopped Cilantro

 ½ Teaspoon Kosher Salt


  1. Place a medium mixing bowl on a towel so it gives a sturdy base
  2. On a cutting board peel and dice onion into small ¼ inch pieces set aside
  3. Cut the tomatoes in half scoop out seeds and dice into ¼ inch pieces set aside
  4. Slice the avocados in half, take out seed discard and scoop out into bowl
  5. Squeeze limes into the bowl with avocados, with a fork smash the avocados until desired consistency
  6. Add the cilantro, onions, tomatoes and kosher salt. Mix well with fork
  7. Season with more lime juice and salt if needed



 1/3 Cup Tupelo Honey

 1 Can Chipotle in Adobo

 1 Tablespoon Fresh Squeezed Lime Juice

 ½ Teaspoon Kosher Salt

 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil

 1 Pound 16/20 PD Shrimp


  1. Put the tupelo honey, chipotle, lime juice, and salt in a food processor
  2. Blend until well blended
  3. In a mixing bowl toss the shrimp with the honey chipotle mixture
  4. In a medium sauté pan heat the oil
  5. Add Shrimp and sauté until cooked through about 5-7 minutes
  6. Place the tostada on a plate and add 1 Tablespoon of guacamole
  7. Top the guacamole with shrimp and serve
