Get out your champagne glasses! We can’t think of a better way to celebrate the holiday season or welcome in the New Year than with this classic Italian cocktail. A mixture of vodka, honey with lemon, lemon sorbet, and sparkling wine come together to create this festive bubbly libation. 

Instructions

1. Wash Up!

2. Start the cocktail: Stir together the vodka, lemon juice, and whipped honey. Pour into a coupe or cocktail glass.

3. Finish the cocktail: Add a scoop of lemon sorbet to the glass.

To Serve: Top with desired amount of Prosecco and garnish with a lemon slice, if desired.

Pro Tip: Use a small cookie scoop to scoop the lemon sorbet into the glass.

Table Talk: In some parts of Italy, it’s tradition to literally throw out old things through the window—pots, clothes, furniture, you name it—on New Years to symbolize letting go of the past. Do you have any New Years traditions?

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon Savannah Bee Company Whipped Honey (we used Whipped Honey with Lemon)
  • ¼ cup lemon sorbet
  • Prosecco for topping
  • Lemon slices for garnish (optional)
