One-Bowl Pumpkin Spice Honey Bread
Double the spice with Pumpkin Spice Whipped Honey in the batter and then spread over the top for the perfect finish.
One-Bowl Pumpkin Spice Honey Bread
(pumpkin, spices + a cozy honey hug)
makes one 9-inch x 5-inch loaf *
What you need:
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup Savannah Bee Company® Pumpkin Spice Whipped Honey, plus more for slathering over the top
1/2 cup coconut oil, melted (or butter, melted)
3/4 teaspoon vanilla extract 2 eggs 1 cup pumpkin puree
1 1/2 cups whole wheat or all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon pumpkin spice
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
What to do:
1. Wash Up!
2. Preheat oven to 350 °F and prepare a 9x5” loaf pan with pan spray.
3. Prepare Batter: In a large bowl, mix the honey, brown sugar, oil/butter, vanilla and eggs. Once combined, mix in the pumpkin puree. Add the dry ingredients into the wet and stir just until everything is incorporated. Avoid over-mixing.
4. Bake Pumpkin Bread: Spread the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 50-65 minutes. Or until an internal temperature of 205º F is reached or a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
5. To Serve: Slice and serve warm with a slather of Savannah Bee Company® Pumpkin S pice Whipped Honey or Savannah Bee Company® Cinnamon Whipped Honey.
