Hot Honey Cranberry Sauce
The last time I served this, my guests requested that I make more for them to take home. I sent along the recipe. They can make it themselves.
Hot Honey Cranberry Sauce
(cranberries, oranges + hot honey sting)
Serves 6-8
What you need:
2 large oranges
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup Savannah Bee Company Hot Honey, plus more for drizzle.
1 12-oz bag (3 cups) fresh cranberries
Pinch of salt
What to do:
1. Wash Up!
2. Prep the Oranges: Zest one orange, set aside zest. Squeeze both of the oranges into a medium saucepan.
3. Cook the Sauce: In a medium sauté pan over medium-high heat, bring orange juice, water and hot honey to a boil. Add cranberries, orange zest and salt and return to a boil. Once boiling, turn down to medium heat and boil gently, stirring continually, until almost all cranberries have burst open and sauce is becoming thick (about 5-10 minutes). Remove from heat, taste and drizzle with more honey if desired.
4: To serve: Transfer sauce to a serving bowl and cover until ready to serve. Hot Honey Cranberry Sauce can be served warm or chilled and will thicken even more as it cools.
Pro Tip! You can make cranberry sauce up to 5 days ahead of time stored in a covered container in the refrigerator.

Hot Honey
We love substituting honey for sugar to sweeten and tame the tang of fresh cranberry sauce, but the slight heat added with our AWARD WINNING hot honey is really something special. Even those people who don't like too much heat will appreciate this special honey. Use the rest of the bottle to drizzle over your leftover turkey sandwiches!
