Ordering an espresso martini at a London club in the 1980’s was all the rage. We added a little sweet spice to update for today and continue the party!
Pumpkin Spice Espresso Martini
(espresso, vodka, kahlua + spiced honey)
What you need:
For Spiced-Honey Simple Syrup
¼ cup Savannah Bee Company Pumpkin Spice Whipped Honey
¼ cup very hot water
Spiced Honey Simple Syrup
3 tablespoons espresso, chilled
3 tablespoons vodka
1 tablespoon coffee liqueur (we used Kahlua)
3 coffee beans to garnish
What to do:
1. Wash Up!
2. Make spiced-honey simple syrup: Whisk together the honey and hot water until the honey has dissolved. Set aside.
3. Make martini: For each martini, combine 2 tablespoons spiced-honey simple syrup, espresso, vodka, and Kahlua in an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Shake vigorously until chilled. Strain into a martini glass. Garnish with three coffee beans.
Pro Tip: Garnishing with three coffee beans is this cocktail’s trademark. They represent health, wealth and happiness.
