Melon Sangria

Summertime in a glass! Our white sangria is made of mixed melons, a honey simple syrup, gin, and mint. It’s the perfect refreshing cocktail to enjoy on a hot day.

Melon Sangria
(wine + honey simple syrup + watermelon + cantaloupe + honeydew)
Serves 4

What You Need:
1 (750-mL) bottle dry white wine (such as Sauvignon Blanc)
½ cup gin
¼ cup Savannah Bee Company Honey (we used Tupelo Honey
2 tablespoons lime juice
1 cup cubed watermelon
1 cup cubed honeydew
1 cup cubed cantaloupe
1 cup mint
1½ cups sparkling water
Watermelon wedges and fresh mint for garnish

What to Do:
1. Wash Up!

2. Start the sangria: Stir together the wine, gin, honey, and lime juice in a pitcher. Add the watermelon, honeydew, cantaloupe, and mint. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.

To Serve: Just before serving, add the sparkling water to the wine mixture. Divide the sangria between ice-filled glasses. Garnish with watermelon wedges and mint.
