Your favorite store-bought cake donuts upleveled with an easy whipped honey icing and sprinkles!
Honey Iced Cake Donuts
(cake-donuts, whipped honey icing + sprinkles)
What you need:
1/2 cup Savannah Bee Company® Whipped Honey
2 tablespoons powdered sugar
1 teaspoon heavy cream
12 unfrosted cake donuts, use your favorites
Assorted sprinkles and edible flowers (optional)
What to do:
1. Wash Up!
2. Make Icing: Combine Whipped Honey, powdered sugar and heavy cream. Whip together with a small whisk until light in color and beginning to thicken. You can add more powdered sugar to create a thicker icing if desired.
3. Ice Donuts: Spread the whipped honey icing evenly over your donuts and set aside on a parchment lined cookie sheet.
4. Decorate Donuts: Decorate each donut with sprinkles and edible flowers if desired.
To Serve: Arrange on a platter and take all the credit.
