Take Your Bee Garden Tour Today!
Step Into the World of Bees
The Savannah Bee Company Bee Garden Tour is your chance to step beyond the jar and into the world where honey begins. It’s an hour that connects you directly to the bees, the blooms, and the people who care for them.
The tour starts with a behind-the-scenes look at the world of bees. You’ll learn how a hive functions, how bees communicate, and how honey moves from blossom to bottle. It’s equal parts science, storytelling, and lived experience, all guided by a team that knows these bees inside and out. An observational, indoor beehive, honey tasting, and interactive activities await.
From there, you’ll head out to the Bee Garden to meet the workforce in action. Watching honeybees in their environment really shows just how impressive nature can be. You’ll observe the thousands of small, coordinated efforts happening all at once that contribute not only to filling a jar of honey, but to keeping our planet's ecosystems alive and healthy.
Tours run Monday through Saturday at 11am, 1pm, and 3pm, Sunday at 1pm, and 3pm, and can be adjusted to fit your group. Kids five and up can join in the outdoor portion, while younger visitors can still explore indoor hives and taste honey. It’s a space where curiosity is encouraged, no matter your age or experience level.
This experience is now available at our brand new Savannah location, BeeTopia. We want BeeTopia to serve as a reminder of the essential relationship between bees, plants, and people, and we are so excited to have you join us.
Before you go, there are a few simple ways to make the most of it: skip strong fragrances, wear closed-toe shoes, and dress comfortably for being outdoors. Tours are weather-dependent, and for good reason. The bees prefer clear skies just like we do. It’s a small window into their world, but one that tends to stay with you long after you leave.
