Spicy Buffalo Chicken Dip

Spicy Buffalo Chicken Dip

After one bite of this spicy and sweet game day favorite, you’ll understand why it’s #1 in our book. We’ve taken the crave-able dip recipe and given it a Savannah Bee twist with our honey hot sauce instead of buffalo wing sauce. Trust us on this one: It’s so delicious, you may want to make a double batch.

Spicy Buffalo Chicken Dip
(spicy-sweet dip + blue cheese)
Serves 8 - 10

What you need:
1 (8-ounce) block cream cheese, softened
1/3 cup ranch dressing
1/3 cup Savannah Bee Company Honey Hot Sauce, plus more for garnish
2 cups chopped skinned rotisserie chicken breast
1½ cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese, divided
½ cup crumbled blue cheese, plus more for garnish
Sliced green onions
Pita chips and celery sticks for serving

What to do:

1. Wash Up!

2. Start the dip: Preheat the oven to 350°F. Beat the cream cheese in a large bowl with a handheld mixer until smooth. Add the ranch dressing and hot sauce and blend until combined.

3. Finish the dip: Stir in the chicken, ¾ cup Monterey Jack cheese, and the blue cheese. Spoon the mixture into a lightly greased 2-quart baking dish. Sprinkle with the remaining cheese.

4. Bake the dip: Bake for 25 minutes or until the dip is bubbly on the edges. Increase the oven temperature to broil and broil for 2 to 3 minutes or until browned on top.

To Serve: Sprinkle the dip with more blue cheese and green onions. Drizzle with more hot sauce. Serve warm with pita chips and celery sticks.

Pro Tip: You can also use cooked chicken breast instead of rotisserie chicken if you’ve got it on hand.

Table Talk:  Are you in the blue cheese or ranch dip camp when it comes to wings?
