Peppermint Tea with Honey Cream Foam

A festive caffeine free alternative for holiday pick me up.

Peppermint Tea with Honey Cream Foam
(peppermint, cream + whipped honey)
Makes 1

What you need:
2 peppermint tea bags
3 tablespoons of Savannah Bee Company Winter White Honey or Savannah Bee Company Original Whipped Honey, divided
¼ cup of heavy whipping cream
1/8 teaspoon peppermint extract
Peppermint candy cane, crushed (optional)

What to do:

1. Wash Up!

2. Make the Peppermint Tea: Bring 1 cup water to a boil. Add 1 tablespoon of honey and tea and steep for 5 minutes.

3. Make honey cream foam: While tea is steeping, combine remaining 2 tablespoon of honey, peppermint extract and heavy cream in a medium bowl. Whisk until soft peaks form.

To Serve: Pour the tea into a mug and top with the honey cream foam and sprinkle crushed peppermint candy on top (if desired).

Pro Tip: Crush the peppermint candy cane in its wrapper to save you a mess from cleaning up.
