Pumpkin Spice Cannoli Dip
The usual Italian cannoli ingredients are sweetened with Pumpkin Spice Whipped Honey and spiced with the flavors of fall. This could be the greatest 15-minute dessert or sweet appetizer you’ll ever taste and certainly the easiest crowd pleaser you will ever make.
Pumpkin Spice Cannoli Dip
(ricotta, mascarpone, orange zest + pumpkin spiced honey)
Makes 4 cups
What you need:
¼ cup Savannah Bee Company Pumpkin Spice Whipped Honey or Cinnamon Whipped Honey
15 ounces canned pumpkin (can substitute unsweetened canned yams)
15 ounces ricotta cheese, drained
8 ounces mascarpone cheese (can substitute cream cheese)
½ cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon fresh orange zest
1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
¼ teaspoon salt
1/3 cup mini chocolate chips to garnish, optional
To Serve: Ginger snaps, graham crackers, cannoli chips, cannoli shells or broken waffle ice cream cones
What to do:
1. Wash Up!
2. Mix Dip: In a large mixing bowl add the Pumpkin Spice Whipped Honey, pumpkin, ricotta, mascarpone and powdered sugar. Mix with a handheld electric mixer until well combined and smooth. Add in vanilla, zest, pumpkin pie spice and salt. Mix until combined.
To Serve: Place dip in a bowl and surround with your favorite items for dipping (ginger snaps, graham crackers, cannoli chips, cannoli shells or broken waffle ice cream cones). Garnish with mini chocolate chips if desired.
Pro Tip: Be sure to use unsweetened pumpkin and NOT pumpkin pie filling.
