Peanut Butter Honey Cookies
Peanut butter and honey go together just like peanut butter and jelly, so naturally we knew these peanut butter cookies with honey would be delicious. We like adding the fork marks to the tops of the cookies to remind us of how grandma made them when we were kids.
Peanut Butter Honey Cookies
(chewy peanut butter cookies with honey)
Makes about 1½ dozen cookies
What You Need:
½ cup creamy peanut butter
½ cup salted butter, softened
½ cup firmly packed light brown sugar
¼ cup Savannah Bee Company Whipped Honey (we used Sunflower Honey)
1 large egg
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1¼ cups all-purpose flour
Cooking spray
What to do:
1. Wash Up!
2. Start the dough: Preheat the oven to 350° F. Beat the peanut butter, butter, brown sugar, and honey at medium speed with an electric mixer until creamy. Add the egg and vanilla and beat until combined. Add the flour to the peanut butter mixture and beat until combined. (The dough will be soft and sticky.)
3. Finish the cookies: Using a cookie scoop, scoop the dough into about 18 even balls and place 2 inches apart on parchment paper-lined baking sheets. Coat the tops with cooking spray. Use a fork to make a hash design, if desired. Bake for 12 to 14 minutes or until the bottoms are browned and the cookies are set.
To Serve: Remove the cookies from the baking sheet to a wire rack and serve warm or at room temperature.
