Thai-style Shrimp Cocktail

A platter of chilled shrimp with a spicy Thai take on cocktail sauce perfectly pairs with a glass of bubbles to cheers in the New Year.

Thai-style Shrimp Cocktail
(shrimp, sambal oelek + honey hot sauce)
Makes 4

What you need:
1 lb. cooked peeled and deveined shrimp
1/3 cup ketchup
1 tablespoon horseradish
1 tablespoon Savannah Bee Company Honey Hot Sauce
2 teaspoons lime juice
1 teaspoon fish sauce
1 teaspoon sambal oelek (can substitute garlic & chili sauce or sriracha)
2 teaspoons cilantro, chopped
Lime wedges

What to do:

1.Β Wash Up!

2. Make Cocktail Sauce: Combine the ketchup, horseradish, Honey Hot Sauce, lime juice, fish sauce, sambal, and chopped cilantro in a bowl. Transfer cocktail sauce to cute bowl and chill for 30 minutes.

To Serve: Squeeze some lime juice over the shrimp and place on a platter with the cocktail sauce and serve immediately.

Pro Tip: Chill your serving bowls in the freezer before transferring the shrimp to it for serving.
