Simple Honey Chocolate Mousse

A simple dessert that comes together in less than 30 minutes.
Simple Honey Chocolate Mousse
(pudding, whipped cream + honey)
Makes: 6-8 servings
What You Need:
1 5.9oz box of dark chocolate instant pudding, prepared per package instructions, chilled
1 cup heavy whipping cream
1 tablespoon Savannah Bee Company Lavender Honey, plus more for drizzling
What to Do:
-
Make whipped cream: pour whipping cream into a large bowl, and whisk using a hand mixer or whisk until soft peaks form. Once soft peaks form, drizzle in honey to sweeten and continue to whisk until stiff peaks form.
-
Fold together the mousse: Using a large rubber spatula, fold the whipped cream into the pudding until just combined. Spoon mousse into serving containers and return to the fridge for 10-15 minutes before serving.
To Serve: Drizzle with more lavender honey and share!
Pro Tip: Folding in an ingredient usually indicates that you bring the spatula from the bottom of the bowl over the top, as though you are folding the ingredients. Our goal with folding this “mousse” is to maintain as much fluffiness as possible!
