Hot Honey BBQ Sauce
(a sweet and spicy condiment)
Makes about 2 cups
What you need:
1 cup ketchup
¾ cup Savannah Bee Company® Hot Honey
¼ cup apple cider vinegar
¼ cup molasses
½ tsp smoked paprika
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp onion powder
Salt to taste
What to do:
1. Wash Up!
2. Make the Sauce: Combine the ketchup, honey, vinegar, molasses, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Simmer for 15 minutes or until the sauce is thickened.
Pro Tip: This is a thick rich sauce that thickens as it cools. If you like a thinner sauce, add a little warm water to desired thickness.
