Hot Honey Cinnamon Macchiato
We’ve given the classic coffee drink, a macchiato, a fiery cinnamon candy makeover with two of our favorite Savannah Bee honeys: whipped cinnamon honey and hot honey. Now that’s a two-for-one we can’t help but love.
Hot Honey Cinnamon Macchiato
(espresso + spicy cinnamon-infused milk)
Serves 1
What you need:
1 tablespoon Savannah Bee Company Whipped Honey (we used Whipped Honey with Cinnamon)
1 tablespoon Savannah Bee Company Hot Honey
¼ cup hot espresso
¾ cup whole milk
Cinnamon sticks and ground cinnamon for garnish (optional)
What to do:
1. Wash Up!
2. Start the macchiato: Combine the whipped honey, hot honey, and espresso in a mug and stir to combine.
3. Steam the milk: Using a frother or whisk, heat the milk in a small saucepan over medium heat until hot and foamy.
To Serve: Pour the hot milk and foam over the espresso mixture in the mug. Garnish with cinnamon sticks and ground cinnamon, if desired.
Pro Tip: Make this dairy-free by using your favorite plant-based milk. We love almond milk, coconut milk, and soy milk.
