Our premium Acacia Honey hails from the glorious Piedmont region of Northern Italy. The clean, light vanilla taste is perfection on the palate. This single-varietal gem is made from the delicate blossoms of the Acacia tree. One taste of this fine honey, and you will be an Acacia lover forever! This is honey perfection. Acacia Honey is very rare and dependent on a variety of climatic conditions. As always, our supply is limited and will not last very long. Sometimes folks refer to Acacia honey as Moonflower honey or Water honey,

Nice and light!

As an excited newbee to varietal honeys, I'm finding that I prefer the lighter varieties, and your Acacia offering is one of my favorites! I just leave the 20oz. flute on my desk and 'take a hit' whenever I feel a sweet craving (which is often). I just ordered a bottle of your Tupelo Reserve, and can't wait to get into it! You have 3 or 4 different flavors I NEED to try! By the way, the (Vimeo) video was a nice touch to your website. Being from Washington State, with no plans to travel across the country, the video really is helpful to get a feel for who you are doing business with (and in that spirit, it was nice to meet you).

College freshman wants more

While I have been loving Savannah Bee Acacia honey for a long time, my son took some to college this fall and is requesting additional supplies more and more often... I think he's sharing it with his whole dorm. I love it!! and all their products I have tried - from the Beeswax Hand & Nail Salve (love the scent) and the mint julep lip balm!

Heavenly bees...Acacia

I use Tupelo as my everyday honey, but Acacia is that one I go to when a special treat is needed. I buy this annually, sometimes more often, but it's well worth it. It has depth, and a subtle ness that takes it beyond what any other honey can be.

  • Tasting Notes

Acacia honey is our most delicate honey. This honey has a low acid content and is very light in color. Acacia honey is best eaten raw so that delicate vanilla tones can be detected. Acacia honey has a high fructose content so it resists crystallization and remains liquid for years.

  • Pairings

Brush on warm pastries or fresh bread for an added delicate sweetness.
  • Did You Know?

Acacia honey is actually produced from the nectar of the "False Acacia" tree flower. False Acacia is commonly reffered to as the Black Locust tree. This tree has been widely planted all across Europe, especially in Eastern European countries.
