Dessert Grazing Board
When you’re putting together a dessert board, it’s a “measure with your heart” recipe. Put together all the things that make you happy! We love this dessert board for a night in on Valentine’s day or a Galantine’s Celebration! Whatever you do, share with your loved ones!
Dessert Grazing Board
(fruit, chocolate, nuts, cookies + raw honeycomb)
Serves 6-8
What you need:
1 (12.3 ounce) Savannah Bee Company® Raw Honey Comb
12 ounces melting chocolate
1-pint fresh strawberries
1-pint fresh raspberries
1-pint fresh blackberries
1-pint cherries
1 red Anjou pear, halved, seeded and sliced
1 (7 ounce) package of waffle crisp cookies
4 ounces macadamia nuts
8 ounces chocolate bar with almonds, broken up
1 (5 ounce) package dark chocolate sea salt truffles
1 (6.5 ounce) package Verona strawberry cookies
1 (5.5 ounce) package Brussels dark chocolate cookies
1 (6 ounce) package Dark Chocolate Almond Biscotti
What to do:
- Chocolate Dip Fruit: Prepare a sheet pan with parchment paper. In a double boiler, heat melting chocolate and stir with a spatula until smooth. Remove from heat and dip fruit into melting chocolate to coat roughly half of the fruit. Let cool on parchment lined sheet pan. Dip some cookies while you’re at it, too!
- Place Large Items: Choose a platter and place your honeycomb and sliced pear in your desired locations. Next, add in about half of your cookies.
- Layer Fruits and Nuts: Starting from largest to smallest, begin to place fresh fruit. Add in nuts and remaining cookies to fill space
- Finishing Touches: Adjust items as necessary. You can add some pink tissue paper under certain items to add some color and flare!
Pro Tip: You don’t have to use exactly the cookies we chose. We love to hang out in the snack aisle and see what looks good
