Tupelo Honey

Tupelo Honey is the Queen of the honey world. Its soft, buttery sweetness is an addictive sensation and will quickly become the only honey you want. Savannah Bee Tupelo Honey is very unique and only produced in the threatened tupelo ecosystem of the Altamaha and Apalachicola River Basins of Georgia and Florida. The weather has really interfered with production over the past decade with the last "normal" crop of maybe 500 barrels in 2008. The demand for the honey coupled with dwindling supply has led to historically high prices for this world class honey.

Tupelo Honey

Absolutely amazing. No other honey like this. Worth every penny. It has a warm, almost buttery sort of flavor. Not as sweet as most store bought honey. Delicious on oats, biscuits, in tea or just out of the jar!

Tupelo honey

I have just learned of Tupelo honey while in the Florida panhandle. After hearing some of the testimonies of the harvesters on the local news, I was very anxious to try it. I had no idea how the climate could so drastically effect their harvest. Well I ordered some and we have just tasted it and Wow.....it is absolutely delicious!!! We will share ours and return for more. Thank you for your prompt and efficient service.
