Tupelo Honey

The label does say Tupelo Honey never crystalizes, but nothing is absolute. I have had one jar that started to crystalize after it had been opened and, heaven forbid, forgotten for several months. I added just a little hot water and a vigorous stir, dissolving the crystals. I then polished off the bottle and ordered more of my favorite honey from Savannah Bee. Make sure the excellent Savannah Bee jar is closed tightly. Now, it's time to order another 80 oz jar.

Best honey I have ever had

I grew up with this honey. My grandmother used to get it from the health food store in Tallahassee. I decided to try it out since I had not had it since I was a child and it trumps every honey that I have had. And it is the real deal because that unique flavor tripped my memories big time. I live in Texas now and there is no honey here like this. I shared some with my co-workers and they were all shocked at how delicious it is. I have decided to have a Tea party at my house with my family that is from Florida so that they can go down memory lane as well. Thank you Savannah Bee Company! and your cute little bees :-)

Tupelo Honey

Description

Our 2018 Tupelo Honey is now available in all sizes!

After nine years of steady decline, the Tupelo harvest this year was remarkable. Plenty of rain leading up to and beautiful weather during the bloom were the perfect weather conditions for producing such a fantastic crop. Ted says it's the best Tupelo in terms of quality and quantity since ’92!

This year's crop is a very light golden-yellow that almost glows. The flavor is exquisite. It's the same soft, buttery sweetness unique to Tupelo Honey, only cleaner and livelier than the past few years. It really lives up to its nickname: Queen of the Honey World.

Produced in the threatened Tupelo ecosystem of the Altamaha and Apalachicola River Basins of Georgia and Florida, this special honey is guaranteed to delight the taste buds and leave a lasting impression.
