Whipped Honey with Lemon Crispy French Toast

Our Crispy French Toast is a cereal crusted French toast recipe that is a fun twist on a classic. Thick slices of bread are dipped into a cinnamon batter and coated with crunchy cereal. Once cooked the French toast is topped off with a homemade whipped cream and our honeycomb. This recipe will quickly become your family's favorite breakfast. 


1 Loaf of Thick Cut Bread

4 Eggs

2 Cups Wole Milk

1 Tablespoon Cinnamon

¼ Teaspoon Salt

1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract

1 Tablespoon Almond Extract

1 Tablespoon Brown Sugar 

Whipped Cream Ingredients 

1 Pint Heavy Whipping Cream

1 Teaspoon Almond Extract

¼ Teaspoon Vanilla Extract

2 Tablespoons Whipped Honey with Lemon


  1. In a mixing bowl add the eggs and milk and whisk until light in color
  2. Add the cinnamon, salt, vanilla, almond extract, as well as the brown sugar
  3. Whisk until fully incorporated
  4. Put the cereal in a food processor and process until large pieces are gone but not blended to a dust then transfer to a mixing bowl
  5. Heat up a non-stick pan and melt the butter
  6. Take the bread slices and dip into batter for a few seconds then dredge in the corn flake crumbles
  7. Add the pieces of bread to pan and cook on both sides about 2 minutes per side
  8. Set aside and keep warn in oven until all bread is cooked
  9. Cut diagonal in half and layer the French toast
  10. Add the Whipped Cream (Instructions below) and honeycomb to the top along with fresh fruit and berries

Whipped Cream Directions

  1. In a stand mixer with a whisk attachment or a bowl using a whisk add the heavy cream, almond extract, vanilla extract and whipped honey with lemon
  2. Whip or whisk until stiff peaks form and you reach desired consistency. This should take 5 minutes in the mixer or 10 minutes by hand
