Did you know that honey is a very versatile sweetener? You probably already know that honey is a great substitute for refined sugar in coffee and tea, but did you know that honey is also perfect for baking, marinades, and all types of sauces? The following recipe is a no-bake delight that will supply you with hours of steady energy. Our Tupelo Honey Date Walnut Bites recipe was developed by video recipe blogger Maggie Raymond just for Savannah Bee. This recipe features Savannah Bee Tupelo honey but you may want to experiment with other honey varieties like Orange Blossom honey or Sourwood honey.
Did you know that honey is metabolized much slower than refined sugar? As a result, the energy delivery from consuming honey is more even and sustained. Honey is an ideal addition to your pre-workout routine. Try these Tupelo Honey Date Walnut Bites instead of the ordinary, humdrum processed energy bar before your next run.
