Roasted Pear Asiago Cheese Crostini

One of our favorite ways to enjoy roasted pears is with asiago cheese and honey on a crostini. This easy appetizer can be made in 20 mins and is sure to be a crowd pleaser. 


 1 Loaf Italian or French Bread

 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil

 2 Red Pears

 ½ Teaspoon Kosher Salt

 ½ Teaspoon Fresh Black Pepper

 ½ Teaspoon Smoked Paprika

 ½ Teaspoon Coriander

 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil

 1 Tablespoon Fresh Thyme

 ¼ cup Wildflower Honey

 1 Tablespoon White Balsamic Vinegar

 1 Cup Shredded Asiago Cheese


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Slice the bread into rounds, drizzle with oil then bake for 6-8 minutes until crispy and set aside
  3. Cut the core out of the pears, then dice both pears and put into a mixing bowl
  4. Add the salt, pepper, paprika, coriander, oil, thyme, wildflower honey, and vinegar toss well to coat
  5. Lay on a roasting pan and cook for 15 minutes until soft
  6. Cool the Pears then toss with the asiago cheese
  7. Lay the crostini on a serving dish and spoon about 1 teaspoon of the pear mixture onto the bread
  8. Garnish with fresh chopped thyme and serve
