Winter White Eggnog

It's beginning to taste a lot like Christmas!  Homemade Honey Eggnog gets even better with age so make it as early as you can, but this recipe is so tasty you can drink it as soon as it's made. Farm fresh eggs are eggstra amazing in this recipe, the natural flavors really shine.  Winter White Honey's smooth texture and the maple-spice flavor of Sourwood Honey add the perfect accent to this rich Christmas drink.  You'll love this Homemade Honey Eggnog.

  1. 12 large eggs

  2. 1 cup Winter White Honey

  3. 1 cup Sourwood Honey

  4. 1 pint half-n-half

  5. 2 pint heavy cream

  6. 1 cup Honey Whiskey

  7. 1 cup rum

  8. 1 cup cognac

  9. 1 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg (plus more for serving)

  10. 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt

  11. 1 Fresh Vanilla (optional)


  1. Beat eggs with the honey, scraped vanilla bean and nutmeg in a large mixing bowl until the mixture becomes lighter and thicker

  2. Combine dairy, libations and salt in a second container and then slowly beat into egg mixture

  3. In airtight jars, store in the fridge.  Store for two weeks, up to one year, or drink immediately

  4. Serve Homemade Honey Eggnog cold with grated nutmeg as garnish
