Roasted Tomato Salsa with Tupelo Honey Hot Sauce

This recipe is so simple and easy, anyone cane make it.


2 Tablespoons Tupelo Honey Hot Sauce

1 Tablespoon Olive Oil

6 Plum Tomatoes

1 Large Spanish Onion

6 Garlic Cloves

1 Teaspoon Kosher Salt

½ Teaspoon Fresh Black Pepper

1 Bunch Cilantro

¼ cup Fresh Squeezed Lime Juice or about 3 limes

1 Teaspoon Chipotle in Adobo


  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees
  2. Cut tomatoes in half and scoop out seeds
  3. Peel onion and cut into slices about 4 slices per side
  4. Toss the tomatoes, onion, and garlic with olive oil.
  5. Place on roasting pan and roast for about 25 minutes, remove from oven and cool
  6. Clean cilantro and chop roughly
  7. Squeeze the fresh limes until you get about ¼ cup
  8. Add all ingredients to a food processor and pulse ingredients about 8-10 times until blended but still chunky. Chill and serve with tortilla chips or with tacos
