Lavender Honey Apple Crisp

As you probably know, Savannah Bee goes to great lengths to procure the purest and very best honey in the world. Last year we introduced two new monofloral honey varieties into our collection, Rosemary honey and Lavender honey. Both are harvested from remote, pristine regions in southern Spain. Our Rosemary and Lavender honey are both fantastic for cooking. Our Rosemary honey has a very complex herbaceous flavor with subtle mineral qualities. In contrast, the Lavender Honey is very sweet with a big fruity and floral flavor that explodes in your mouth. Our Rosemary honey is ideal for basting. I recommend our Rosemary Honey Glazed Shrimp recipe. On the other hand, our Lavender honey is the perfect dessert honey and is featured in our Lavender Honey Apple Crisp recipe below.

This recipe is the creation of our very favorite video food blogger Maggie Raymond. Maggie not only creates wonderful dishes for Savannah Bee but also runs her own food blog and restaurant review website, I Honey Food.
